Deborah Midkiff: Hi, Connie!I just found your message. It looks, from here, that your pictures overlay your words and it is impossible to read. I don't know how to fix it, per se, unless you cut your photos and re-paste in another location on the page. Thanks for answering and I hope to talk to you soon!Debbie

HOMEMADEWINE

Hosted by SparkleTags.com          GREETINGS

Today is a lazy weekend kind of day. It is cool outside and I have been picking blackberries for my wine. My apple and plum are brewing now. I will have five gallons of blackberry to put on the brew when it is all prepared. Concord grapes are next on the list. My wines are all homemade and natural without any chemicals. I make my wine from fruit and berries growing in my yard. Other than my writing, I enjoy this hobby.

Friend from the past

My thoughts...  I will talk about a happy thought. I was on my myspace website that I mentioned in an earlier post when, unexpectantly, I received a reply from someone that I knew from Tolstoy Farm! She is now living in Mexico in the costal town of Chacala. What a beautiful place! I am really enjoying reading about her life there.. her gardening, her travels, her interesting friends. How fun!  I would love to share her websites with you:

I think you will enjoy her humor and her honesty.

HAPPY 4th!

HAPPY 4th!

The only reason that I remember this is that it is very noisy outside... and, oh wait... it is only the 3rd! Where is my patriotism? ... I am very patriotic! I mean, we watched "Independence Day" this evening, that proves it! Oh, I am so cynical. Yes, I am. Don't get me wrong, I love my country. I just don't "party".  Maybe I will pull out my stash of liquor when I have something really special to celebrate. Maybe when this series get notoriety and ends up on the best seller list then I will get plastered. Nah, hang-overs are the pits. I will just clap my hands and go "YAY"

NEW WEBSITES!

HEY! I have been busy! With all of the crazy stuff goin' on and all, I still have found the time to put up a new seller's store. This one is on ioffer.com. My eBay store charges were outta-site, so I closed their store site. I am just getting it up and running, which means, placing items and ironing out the bugs. If you know anything about websites, each one has its own set of issues to contend with. Anyway, here is the URL:

Now, for other business... today, while glancing through my email, I came across my weekly newsletter from PW (Publisher's Weekly) and they have featured a great group of authors, which btw, is on ANOTHER website that I am currently listed. I will get to that later. Right now I want to direct you to THEIR webpage:

My book, Encounters... , is moving right along. You might not realize this, but these things take time! DUH! Talk to you soon, and keep reading!

Epiphany!

Hosted by SparkleTags.com

I hope you are enjoying the story and I look forward to your comments. Jake has just come to the realization that he may know some of the cat-creatures that are in the governmental laboratory. This has him very excited and he can't wait to check it out! I, myself, cannot wait to see what happens as this story is writing itself, or so it seems. I will be receiving the, much anticipated, supply of book #3 for my signings soon. So much has been happening in my life that I haven't taken the time to order them in.  If you have been reading my blogs, you will know what I am referring to. If not, read my blogs!!!

Encounters of Evil

And, so, we meet again, my loyal sci-fi fan-atics! I have been thoughtfully discussing (with myself) the direction of my next book. Phew! There is a lot going on and keeping it straight is not easy. I have found that if I draw out the situations on large oversized paper it helps to untangle the mess or, at least, keep the different faction's activities running smoothly. Just coming up with a story line isn't enough, you have to make it coherent and believable as well! BTW, I am now on chapter 21!

OH! I have been toying with the idea of a SUPERCAT comic book. What do you think?
